About Us

Dove Title was founded in 1995 by Gary Anglin as Hamilton-Hico Title and Abstract Company. In 1997, he sold the company to Nancy Anglin Yates. She later renamed the business Yates Title and relocated it to the East side of the Hamilton Courthouse Square in the historic and beautifully renovated Chesley Building.

Nancy grew the business significantly during her more than 27 years of ownership. Upon her retirement in 2023, she sold the company to Amanda Anglin Thompson and Kathleen Anglin who continue the multi-generational legacy of service that Hamilton County property owners have come to associate with this experienced title research team. As of January 1, 2026, the business has been rebranded as Dove Title, a tribute to the Hamilton County community that we continue to serve.

Amanda Anglin Thompson, CTIP

Amanda is a Certified Title Insurance Professional with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. She has worked in a variety of title-related capacities including Office Manager, Escrow Officer, Veteran's Loan Specialist, and currently Co-Owner and CEO. Amanda holds a B.A. from Rice University and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She is a 6th generation Hamiltonian who married her high school sweetheart, Mark Thompson, an 8th generation Hamiltonian. Amanda's title career began while she was in high school working for Nancy Yates at Dove Title which was then known as Hamilton-Hico Title and Abstract Company. After law school, Amanda joined Stewart Title as an Operations Manager for a national loan team in the DFW metroplex. In 2016, Amanda and her family returned to Hamilton when she rejoined the Dove Title team, then known as Yates Title. Amanda and Mark are pleased to raise their two children, three dogs, and a cat, in the hometown that raised them. In Amanda's spare time, she enjoys singing Lead in Chisholm Trail Chorus and Agents of Chaos Quartet both of which are part of Sweet Adelines International, an all-women's barbershop society focused on music education, leadership, and sisterhood.

Kathleen Anglin
CAO and Co-Owner, Licensed Escrow Officer, Licensed Notary

Tasked with handling administrative functions for Dove Title, Kathleen has more than 42 years of experience in senior level human resources positions. As a seasoned executive for large, multi-state organizations, she shares that expertise to support the compliance functions at Yates Title. Kathleen holds a B.A. degree from Rice University and serves as an Escrow Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Co-Owner of Dove Title. Kathleen and her husband Gary, a 5th generation Hamilton County resident, are blessed to live near his parents, several siblings, both of their children, and their four grand-children. While Kathleen may have retired from large corporate life, she feels a great sense of purpose serving her local community and neighbors. In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys playing piano for her church, crafts of any kind, and spoiling Shep, her Australian Shepherd.

Sabrina Wagley

Sabrina’s Real Estate journey started as a Real Estate agent for Christian Realty in 1999. In this capacity, she enjoyed advocating for her clients and community, and exploring and showing the properties, but most of all she fell in love with Hamilton County. After being an agent, Sabrina focused on raising children as a stay-at-home mother and foster parent. In June 2002, Sabrina put down permanent roots in Evant. At this time, she went back to school to to get an Instructor of Cosmetology license and then ran a Salon in Evant for 4 years. After that, Sabrina went to work for Star ISD as Secretary to the Principal, Attendance Clerk, and Cafeteria Manager until Star ISD closed. Next Sabrina worked at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as a Human Service Technician for 7 years then with Central Community Services as an Administrative Assistant. Although Sabrina came to Dove Title with only a small amount of title experience, her extensive experience working with families has prepared her for the attention to detail, and problem solving that is required to conduct a thorough title research. Sabrina joined the Dove Title team (then known as Yates Title) as a Title Examiner in June 2023 where her puzzle solving skills have been tested and appreciated daily. In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys being Grammie to her two precious grandbabies.

Karen Weaver

Karen comes to Dove Title with a background in banking and customer service. As the friendly face at the front desk, she is the light of Dove Title and shines brightest when she is helping clients. Karen enjoys the fast paced nature of being a Title Assistant and embraces each client with a positive attitude. Her position encompasses a wide ranch of responsibilities and she is eager to achieve every goal we have placed before her. Karen is the first voice you will hear over the phone and the first face you will see in the office. She has made it her personal mission to ensure each client has an exceptional experience and a successful closing. In her spare time, Karen enjoys being the worlds greatest Mamu to her grandbabies and being “almost done” building her dream house with her beloved Chris.

Wendy Walker

Wendy’s affiliation with the Dove Title team first came as being the Legal Assistant to Nancy Anglin Yates at Yates Law, PLLC. With this experience, Wendy brings a strong attention to detail and a dedication to perfecting the legal documents that is absolutely vital to preparing title policies and resolving post-closing matters. Wendy focuses on the last steps of the file to make sure that each and every client receives their policies promptly and accurately. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her sister especially on cruise ships, being Grandma to her grandson, and caring for her community in Hico.
